We help you with:<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Job search strategies<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Resume writing<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Cover letters<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Interviewing<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans Bold';\">Where can I get career information?<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">We have resources for current career information including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Local labor market information<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">HOT jobs in the market<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Career Pathways that show how to progress through certain job levels<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans Bold';\">Are there any career events or workshops that I can attend to learn more?<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">We plan and host workshops, career fairs, and do classroom presentations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">One of the best tools that we offer is a program called Career Coach. This program uses local employment and demographic data to provide information about job opportunities, salaries, companies that are hiring, and the future job market. Career Coach is a free and open program \u2013 you do not need to create an account or be a student at the college to use this online program. Most people start the process by taking the career assessment. Once you get your results, you come in to see a Career Services Counselor who will look at your results to determine what would be the best career choice for you. The counselor then looks at what it will take to implement your career plan along with a realistic timeline.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Life is too short to work at a job that you don\u2019t absolutely LOVE!
